Workplace Health and Safety Essentials Seminar 

Maintaining a safe workplace is the most important responsibility of an employer. With the new offence of industrial manslaughter to be introduced into Victoria, now more than ever it is important for employers to think about their safety obligations.

Join us to learn or update your knowledge about safety law.

This training course covers:

  • What does safe “so far as is reasonably practicable” actually mean.
  • Safety obligations for Directors and Managers – what does exercising “due diligence” or taking “reasonable care” mean.
  • How to take steps to monitor the mental and physical health of workers and how to ensure the conditions at the workplace fulfil and maintain the prevention of illness and injury
  • Changes to the law – including introduction of “industrial manslaughter”
