A critical incident at a workplace creates stress and confusion – Is your organisation equipped to deal with an incident and its consequences? Whilst most employers have a basic understanding of their obligations under Workplace Health and Safety legislation, there may be a limited understanding of what action needs to be taken, when and by whom. And importantly how to mitigate further risks.

This workshop encourages participants to think about how their organisation is equipped to deal with a critical incident and provides practical guidance on the steps required to manage both legal and other risks that may arise.

The workshop aims to challenge participants to consider whether their organisation has the knowledge and capability to deal effectively with a critical incident and importantly what structures are in place to roll out an emergency management plan in the event of an incident.

The workshop also provides an update on the obligations that directors and managers of organisations have under Health and Safety legislation, both nationally and in Victoria.

This free 1.5 hour workshop will be held at Level 11, Como Office Tower, 644 Chapel Street, South Yarra.
