While many employers are aware of their obligations under Workplace Health and Safety legislation, there may be a limited understanding of what action needs to be taken if a critical incident occurs.
This workshop will encourage all participants to think about whether their organisation is equipped to deal with a critical incident and provides practical guidance on the steps required to manage both legal and other risks that may arise.
It challenges participants to revisit their existing emergency management plans and consider whether their organisation has the knowledge and capability to deal effectively with a critical incident.
The workshop also provides a refresher on the obligations that directors and managers of organisations have under Health and Safety legislation, both nationally and in Victoria.
This free 1.5 hour workshop will be held at Level 11, Como Office Tower, 644 Chapel Street, South Yarra.
