From 1 December 2025, the Occupational Health and Safety (Psychological Health) Regulations 2025 and accompanying Compliance Code came into effect in Victoria, introducing clearer and more prescriptive obligations on employers to identify, assess and control psychosocial hazards in the workplace.
While the duty to manage psychosocial risks has long existed under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic), the new Regulations significantly elevate expectations around systems, control measures and ongoing risk management. With regulators now turning their attention to enforcement, employers must ensure their approach to psychological health is compliant, well-documented, and embedded in day-to-day operations.
In light of these developments, it is critical for employers to understand how the Regulations apply in practice and what “reasonably practicable” psychosocial risk control looks like in 2026.
Join us for this FREE webinar, where we will provide a practical overview of the psychosocial hazard framework, emerging compliance expectations, and the steps employers should be taking now to manage risk and meet their legal obligations.
